La Charmante
La Charmante is a charming village house in Provence. It is a house in the medieval part of Tourtour, within walking distance of shops, restaurants & bars. A village full of character, cosiness and atmosphere.
La Charmante has its own entrance, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable bathroom. La Charmante can accommodate four guests and their loyal four-legged friends.

Living room & kitchen La Charmante
Upon entering, you step into the hall. On your left, you'll find a staircase leading to the first floor. Straight ahead, you'll find a cozy lounge with a sitting area and a television with a DVD player. You'll also find the outdoor furniture here, which you can arrange yourself.
As you walk up the stairs, the lights on sensor jump on to show you the way. On the first floor you will find the unique Provencal kitchen, expanded with modern conveniences. A place to get together, cook, have a drink and laugh.
In the kitchen you will find a stove (double oven and induction hob), fridge with freezer compartment and a dishwasher. We will ensure that there is a supply of dishwasher tablets ready for you. There is also a large supply of crockery and kitchenware. On the other side of the kitchen you will find the coffee bar, equipped with coffee & tea.

Bedroom 1 & bathroom
From the kitchen a staircase leads up to the second floor. Here you will find a bedroom with a king size bed (160cm wide). In the bedside table on the right you will findextra chargers & world plugs (in case you forgot yours).
Through a short corridor you enter the comfortable bathroom with washbasin, shower and toilet. In both bedrooms there is a basket with towels.
Honeymoon suite
On the top floor you will find the honeymoon suite. This bedroom has a freestanding bath, a fireplace (not functional) and a king-size bed (160cm wide). You will also find a desk here, which can be used as a home office.
From this upper bedroom you have an overwhelming view over part of the village and the hills behind. In the distance you can see the olive castle, in the middle of the olive trees. In the evening you can see the most impressive sunsets here.

Patio
At the back of the house is a small terrace. You can place the outdoor furniture here, which is in the living room. It is usually very shady here, which makes it wonderful for long and sultry summer evenings. In the summer you will see wall geckos on the walls and lanterns.
Additional information
You reach the cottage via an alley in the medieval part of Tourtour. In the low season you can park your car about 100 meters away. In the high season the village is car-free and you can park your car about 250 meters away. In Tourtour you can park for free all year round.
The cottage is not accessible for people with walking difficulties. In the cottage there are 3 stairs from the Middle Ages. Not all steps are the same height and not every step is the same size.
To get to the bathroom and the upper bedroom, you have to go through the first bedroom.
Each room has electric heating. There is a smoke and heat detector on each floor. WiFi is available throughout the house. Unfortunately, the connection is not very strong.
A maximum of three dogs are allowed in the cottage. There is no internet access.

La Charmante is located in the old part of Tourtour. A medieval village located in the Var (Provence, France).
Tourtour is bustling with life. There are various restaurants, cozy shops and Provencal weekly markets.
In the summer, one can regularly enjoy live music and other festivities on the square.
In the wider area you will find several idyllic villages, the Lac de St. Croix (30 min.) and the Gorges du Verdon (40 min.). To the south are the seaside resorts of St. Raphaël, St. Tropez and St. Maxime (approx. 60 min.)
